Why publish an ebook?

Ebooks cost nothing to print or ship, can be priced competitively and reach readers in every country the moment you publish. For many genres, especially romance, thriller, fantasy and self-help, ebooks make up the majority of sales. They are also the fastest way to test a new book, build an audience and collect reviews before a print launch.

But an ebook is only as good as the file underneath it. Broken tables of contents, stray formatting and images that don’t scale are the most common complaints in ebook reviews. We build files properly from the start.

Our ebook services

EPUB and Kindle conversion

We rebuild your manuscript as clean, standards-compliant code with a navigable table of contents, consistent styles, correct scene breaks and embedded metadata. Every file is checked in EPUBCheck and Kindle Previewer before delivery.

Fixed-layout ebooks

For illustrated children’s books, cookbooks, comics and design-led titles, we produce fixed-layout ebooks that preserve your page design exactly on tablets and color e-readers.

Ebook cover design

A cover built for the small screen, with bold typography and a clear focal image that reads at thumbnail size. See our cover design service.

eBook publishing FAQs

What ebook formats do you create?

We create EPUB 3 files, the standard accepted by Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble and Google Play, and Kindle-ready files for Amazon. Both are tested on real devices and official previewers.

What is the difference between reflowable and fixed-layout ebooks?

Reflowable ebooks adjust text to the reader’s screen and font size, which is ideal for novels and most non-fiction. Fixed-layout ebooks keep every page exactly as designed, which suits children’s picture books, cookbooks and photo books.

Can you convert my PDF or Word file into an ebook?

Yes. We convert Word, Google Docs, InDesign and PDF files into clean, professionally coded ebooks, rebuilding the structure rather than using automatic converters that leave errors.

Where will my ebook be sold?

Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble Nook and Google Play Books, plus library platforms such as OverDrive and Hoopla through aggregators if you choose wide distribution.

Do ebooks need an ISBN?

Amazon does not require one for Kindle, but most other retailers do. We recommend an ISBN for your ebook edition if you are publishing widely.

Is ebook publishing faster than print?

Usually, yes. A ready manuscript can be converted, set up and live on major ebook stores within one to two weeks.
